Hi! I’m Shannon.
It is my calling in life to build confidence in young children and to empower moms & new parents through my portrait experience. I believe that photography gives children confidence and makes them feel loved.
I began my photography journey in 2005, fresh out of high school, working in a mall studio. I built a great foundation and moved on to work as an assistant for several established photographers. I have worked in every kind of photography from corporate to weddings but my heart belongs to the little ones.
In 2026 I felt the calling to share my knowledge and experience with other photographers and Lakeside Studios was born.
I married in 2018 and am a proud dog mom and auntie, with 10 nieces and nephews. Montgomery has been my home for more than a decade and I love being a part of this community.
